I offer a remote Susitna River Drainage cabin for rent. Located in Unit 16-A on Kroto Creek and by the oil well road area. This site has excellent trophy moose, grizzly bear, and black bear hunting. Hunters must have a 4 or 6 wheeler or track rig for transportation as access is via a 10 mile muddy trail. Float plane air taxi service access is from Willow, AK (~ $900.00 round trip on Willow Air).
Remote Cabin Rental - Unguided: Typically runs 7 days and 6 nights. $2,000.00 - 2 hunter minimum, $500 a night for additional hunters, plus air taxi access. Food and drink are included. Rental car extra.
Remote Cabin Rental- Guided: Typically runs 7 days and 6 nights. $4,000.00 per person, plus guide fees and air taxi access. Food and drink are included. Rental car extra.
Two Man Raft Rental for Float Trips: unguided and typically run 5 days and 4 nights. $2,000.00.
$500.00 per person transfer fee for airport pick-up and one night stay in Anchorage.
Hunting Seasons:
- Moose - May, August through September, fork or 50" or 3 brow tines.
- Black Bear - No closed season, 3 bears/yr.
- Brown Bear - September 1st through May 31st, 1 bear/yr.
- Bow & Arrow - August 10th through August 17th
- Rifle - August 20th through September 20th
Note:
- Total fees are all prices plus local taxes.
- Hunters are responsible for obtaining an Alaska hunting license. They must have it on their person while hunting.
- Non-resident hunting licenses, see Alaska Fish & Game web site.
- Black bear non-resident tag is see Alaska Fish & Game web site.
- Brown bear non-resident tag is see Alaska Fish & Game web site., and non-resident MUST be accompanied by an Alaska Registered Guide.
- Moose non-resident tag is see Alaska Fish & Game web site. plus a harvest ticket.
- Seasons and tag fees are subject to change by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
